Jonathan Kirkup - Managing Director
I have worked in the accountancy profession since 1999 and completed my AAT in 2003. I have a wealth of experience in a variety of different sectors including construction, trades and professional services. One of my strong points is taxation and I'm a bit of a problem solver.
Overall nice guy, always helpful and approachable.
West Miller - Accounts Manager
Hello, I am West Miller and I joined the firm in 2021 from an accounts and auditing background at large firms across the North East. I am AAT qualified with over 5 years of experience and my strengths are going the extra mile for my clients, I have knowledge in all areas of accountancy with a specialism in preparing year end accounts, Management reporting and forecasting. I have good communication skills, have always been a team player and I am approachable.
When I’m not preparing reports and forecasting I can be found watching my team, Sunderland, having been an avid supporter for many years. I love the outdoors, socialising with friends and family, trying new things.
Laura Kirkup - Accounts Assistant
My name is Laura Kirkup. I am a Business Management professional with over a decade of experience working within different industries. Being organised and a team player is the foundation of everything I do, both professionally, and personally.
I am married to Jonathan, Director of Red Leaf Accountancy, and mum to three children, who take up most of my time. I enjoy going on family days out, spending time at home, travelling, and on the odd occasion I do get some time to myself, I love a good reality TV show!
Alongside my duties at Red Leaf Accountancy, I manage holiday homes in and around County Durham, and help my children look after their pony, Luna!
Donna Fawcett - Accounts Assistant
I am AAT qualified and have 12 years experience in accountancy. I joined Red Leaf in Jan 2021 and I enjoy my role as an Accounts Assistant which involves liaising with clients, accounts preparation and VAT return preparation.
I live in Newton Aycliffe with my son and husband and in my spare time I like to spend time with my family.
We support most of the main accounting software providers but are a Xero certified advisor because we find it works for most businesses.
We make the process as smooth and seamless as possible, so all you have to worry about is doing what you do best, focus on your business.
